As a nurse, I have been through this many times, but our trainer brought some new evidence-based insight. He even told us how to find the articles that he used for the information. I do not really enjoy CPR classes, but this one was better than other ones I have done in the past.

Recertify in PALS & ACLS & BLS

Recently recertified PALS & ACLS. I thought the instructors were fun, friendly and had many years of experience in their field - I love paramedic stories, they see some crazy stuff! And God bless Beth, she got me through BLS recert in record time, as I was the only one doing it. You rule!

Portland!

Cascade's Portland training Center is a great place to take ACLS, PALS, or other courses. They are friendly and accommodating and make the material interesting. I've had great experiences with the staff and instructor Bubba is a fantastic educator. This is a great location for stress free, relevant, focused AHA training.

Many class dates to choose from

Cascade has many class dates to choose from which makes it easy to stay current. Also, the instructors are experienced and easily convey the subject matter in a supportive learning environment. I missed the PALS class at my hospital and scrambled to find a course a few years ago. I found Cascade and have been taking classes there ever since. And they have parking!

NRP

New to the area, so finding a place to take my NRP was a little scary. Cascade is good! The office staff... is on it! Excellent response time. The online course easy to follow and appropriate. I like the new book much more and testing is appropriate. The Class-Instructor knowledgeable, class clean and temperature is good, class size big enough but not too big, positive learning environment. Great job! Cascade!! I will return next year for my ACLS and BLS too!

ACLS Initial class

I just did the ACLS initial class and I have never enjoyed an ACLS class as much as this one. It is taught by CCU Nurses, ED nurses, EMTs, paramedics, firefighters, people who have a lot of experience in the trenches, and they do a great job with, to borrow their words, core concepts, the anatomy and physiology behind the decision trees, and their stories only serve to augment the learning. I got more out of this than ever before!

CPR in California

I don't think I'll take a BLS/CPR class anywhere else. I have taken the healthcare provider class there 2 times now. Both times the teacher was the same person although this time there was a second teacher with her. The teachers are very laid back, funny and actually made the class enjoyable but at the same time, I feel that I was taught everything I need to know to preform CPR.

Best AHA training

I recently took a First aid and CPR training class. Being that this was my first in a number of years, I was understandably apprehensive. What a pleasant surprise. Cascade has the best AHA training. Lots of hands-on training in a fun and informative environment. Cascade is the best!!

CPR/First Aid instructors who enjoy teaching

This is a great training center. The staff is very friendly and they know what they are doing. It's nice to see instructors who truly enjoy teaching. I was able to stay engaged as well as remember the information just from their enthusiasm. If you are in need of any CPR/First Aid training this is the place!!! Worth your time and investment

BLS, ACLS, PALS

I go every year. They're friendly and always have a lot of times available for BLS, ACLS, and PALS. Very professional and respectful of my time. They offer courses at my place of work but I prefer to go to the Nickerson location in Seattle. My employer still pays for it and it's easy parking and quick in and out. Thanks, Cascade!

Close to Kaiser Roseville, CA

I've been fortunate enough to use Cascade for both TNCC and for my BLS-HP renewals. For those of you who know, these classes can suck your soul dry. Enter Cascade. The classrooms are clean, open, and located in an easy-to-find spot in Roseville, CA, just across from Kaiser Roseville. The instructors have been knowledgeable, down-to-earth, and practicing providers. These aren't barking-order types, these are nurses, EMTs, NPs, etc. who work in the front lines. Love it.

BLS/CPR

Great class, great experience! I came to re-cert my BLS/CPR, which re-cert classes can often be a bit of a bore or chore or both. However, this was neither! The classroom was nice with appropriate equipment. I was really impressed by how smooth and enjoyable the class was! Kudos Cascade!

Scheduling was easy.

Excellent training dummies, pocket masks, AED's. Instructor was the most informed and engaging I've ever had. His experience in the field was current and his insight into the human element of responding to emergent situations, especially when there are patient family members nearby, was very helpful. Scheduling was easy too!

BLS Training for Nursing School

I've been to plenty CPR classes, and i must say this class was one of the best classes I've attended. I came her for BLS training for nursing school, and I think this place was just on top of their stuff. Anyway, one of the best CPR classes I've taken, wasn't boring at all and got to the point which I like.

California!

Very organized from sign-up to the actual class flow to me having to send a follow-up email last week because I lost my CE cert (thanks for being so responsive, btw!). Vicky Wolf was the best - very professional, to the point and a joy to learn from. This is the only place I will go to for my continued education requirements. Parking is easy and the location is comfortable as well.

ACLS and PALS

I came here after reading the reviews for my ACLS and PALS certification classes. I'm glad I did because the experience was great despite these classes running over 2 days each for long hours. The location is in very nice medical offices with a cute outside area with ponds and fountains. It's also close to Douglas where there's just about everything to eat for your lunch break.

ACLS Renewal

This organization is fantastic. The ACLS renewal course is practical and they don't waste time. They even supported me in my request to borrow equipment in order to teach some high school students about cardiac resuscitations. I used to be an ACLS instructor and they do a great job with current information.

From a nurse practitioner

I'm a nurse practitioner and this is the second time I've renewed my BLS at Cascade and the staff has been excellent both times. Very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. They go way out of their way to make sure everything goes smoothly. I'll definitely be going back to Cascade the next time I need to take or renew a class!

CPR/BLS for Healthcare providers

Recently did my CPR/BLS for Healthcare providers. As someone not currently in the Healthcare field I was probably the least-qualified individual in the class. That being said the amazing instructors took their time, explained everything thoroughly and answered my 10,000 questions, all the while being prompt and efficient. Top marks.

This was the best

I've taken a few ACLS and BLS courses in my day, but I honestly think this was the best. The instructors were extremely knowledgeable, yet did not make the students feel inadequate at all. Sometimes you get those instructors that think they know everything, and really ride the students hard, but I saw none of that here. It was very professional, the learning environment was perfect, and I even met some new friends. I will definitely be recommending the Portland Cascade training center to my colleagues and using them in the future.!

Highly recommend for ACLS and PALS

I have taken two recert classes here and both have been great. The facility is quite nice. Josh is one of the best instructors/teachers I have encountered in decades of recerts. Literally. He has a great fund of knowledge so that these courses are not just spilling back what you memorized from the text. And yet, during the practice sessions, the correct information is easy to distill and apply to the written test. The practical mega codes are collegial and friendly. I highly recommend this organization for ACLS and PALS.

BLS and ACLS renewals

Great place to go for BLS and ACLS renewals, even during this pandemic. The instructors are knowledgeable and make the experience engaging and easy as possible. Since I moved to Washington from California 5 years ago Cascade center is where I've received my renewals. I don't want to go anywhere else. And I appreciate the reminder emails that come up when it’s time to renew.

Accommodating to learning disabilities

I always come back to Cascade Training Center because of the people in the office and the instructors. I am a slow reader and it take me time to answer the question. They are always accommodating to my learning disabilities. I never feel like they are in a rush to get me out of the class room. If I don't understand something I don't feel intimidated to ask.

Renewals and instructors!

I've been doing renewals at Cascade for the last several years. They have the best instructors. They are all very experienced, and have excellent knowledge of the material and understanding of underlying pathology and do a great job with teaching. It makes classes really fun, in addition to very practical and helpful. Love it, I'll keep going in the years to come.

Roseville, CA!

Greg was a great instructor for the Initial/ Renewal BLS for healthcare providers. He was very thorough and taught a memorable class. I would highly recommend Cascade Training Center in Roseville because the prices for the courses are very competitive, its location is convenient from the freeway and they certify you as soon as you finish the course in-person.

Seattle classroom

Just finished my ACLS and BLS recert courses here at the Seattle classroom. They are doing classes with social distancing in mind and it was a huge relief to be able to knock this out in one day. The instructor was great. No fluff, just making sure you know what you need to. Highly recommend this company. This was more convenient and a better experience than going through my employer even though I had to pay, so that should say something.

ACLS

Had my ACLS training today. My instructor was experienced, kind, knowledgeable and patient. She is a paramedic and if you ever find yourself in need of her services you can thank God she's on your team. This was my first class with Cascade and they had modern equipment, relevant materials and good coffee! I gave them 5 stars because for 16 years I have taken CPR classes every 2 years and this was the best one I've ever had the pleasure of sitting through. Clean and comfortable classroom. Enjoy.
